WELCOME TO OUR COMMUNITY 

Our mission is to end U.S. military funding to apartheid Israel and advance collective liberation in solidarity with other movements for justice. This community exists to connect members, share resources, and coordinate meaningful action aligned with our campaigns.

We root our community in shared values:

• Liberation & Solidarity — We center Palestinian leadership and connect struggles for justice through an intersectional lens.

• Equity & Inclusion — We uplift marginalized voices and share space equitably.

• Respect & Care — We engage with empathy, humility, and good faith. We are combating a genocide that’s been ongoing since October 7th, 2023, and a settler colonial regime that’s been ongoing for 77+ years—we are kind, human-centered, and warm toward one another.

• Truth & Accountability — We share accurate information and uphold integrity.

• Action & Impact — We have space for conversations on culture, art, and community—but are also focused on making a change in U.S. policy through our advocacy.

Members include Palestinians, allies, grassroots organizers, and advocates aligned with our mission of a free Palestine. Members are not representatives of USCPR or USCPR Action, nor are USCPR or USCPR Action responsible for the comments and actions of individual members.

Healthy debate, differences of opinion and perspective on strategy, etc. are welcome, but participation that undermines our mission, principles, and values will be reviewed by moderators and banned as needed.

Please:

• Use “I” statements and respect others’ lived experiences.

• Listen before responding and assume good faith.

• Use inclusive language and pronouns.

• Share content that advances campaigns, learning, or solidarity.

• Make room for others, especially those from impacted communities.

• Report harm to moderators instead of confronting it publicly.

We do not allow:

• Harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks. We are especially on the lookout for—and will not accept—Islamophobia, Zionism, antisemitism, racism, misogyny, ableism, queerphobia, or transphobia. 

• Discrimination or demeaning language based on identity.

• Misinformation, conspiracy content, or trolling.

• Off-topic posts, spam, or self-promotion.

• Doxing or sharing private information without consent.

• Derogatory or “shock” posts intended to provoke.

• Keep posts relevant to advocacy, strategy, or community support.

• Add sources or context when sharing news or data.

• Tag posts that include heavy content (e.g., violence, trauma).

• Follow platform-specific norms that we lay out in Signal specifically. 

• Never share or republish member content externally without permission.

• Add alt-text for images and captions for videos when possible.

• Be mindful of time zones, access, and language differences.

• Uplift voices historically excluded from advocacy spaces.

• Flag any exclusionary or harmful behavior to moderators.

Moderators: Appointed USCPR Action staff or trained volunteers.

Reporting: Email community@uscpraction.org to report violations

Appeals: Email appeals@uscpraction.org within 7 days to request review.

• Posts may be visible to other members and staff.

• Personal data will not be shared without consent, though we encourage everyone to read Signal and Solidarity.Tech’s privacy policy as well. We do use your data to more efficiently organize and reach out for advocacy campaigns.

• Anonymized engagement data may be used for internal learning.

• Please respect the privacy of this community. Do not screenshot or share any messages outside of this group.

• This community is NOT a vetted space. Please do not post any sensitive information here that you would not share publicly.

• Protect one another. By participating in this space, you're committing to only engage in lawful, nonviolent activity and discussions.
